It is the last weekend to see the Chagall exhibit at the Jewish museum. I had the chance to see it last weekend and it is the widest spread of his work I’ve ever seen. Between the reds, blues, and farm life there is a lot to find beautiful in his work, but there is also a lot to find daring. His canvases cover the range of human emotions expresses during the Holocaust and his later works express the conflict of grief and the continued enjoyment of life.
For a bit of an emotional upskip finish off with the temple – an ode to modern fashion – and a fun house of mirrors!
